Window air inlets

Air inlets is a device that allows air to be delivered to rooms where gravity, mechanical exhaust or hybrid ventilation is used. Even with sealed windows, the air inlet allow fresh air to be supplied continuously, in compliance with the regulations in force.

Remember that the air inlets are mounted in rooms and possibly in the kitchen, then the air flows through the whole apartment to the rooms with ventilation ducts (kitchen, bathroom, toilet) where it is removed outdoors with the resulting pollution.

Because of its performance there are:

  • Hygro adjustable air inlets - the device is automatically controlled, has a sensor (polyamide tape) that analyzes changes in relative humidity in the room and changes the opening of the air inlet. Relative humidity depends, among others, on the level of air pollution resulting from activities such as breathing, sweating, laundry, cooking, drying, etc. The higher the relative humidity, the more open air inlet and the greater the airflow into the room. The air inlets react to changes in relative humidity from 30 to 70%. A properly functioning air inlet delivers a certain minimum amount of air for humidity up to 30%, in the 30-70% range the flow is constantly increasing and above 70% supplies the maximum amount of air specified for the product. Hygro adjustable air inlets do not require user service, but in most cases they have the option of locating the lock in the minimum flow position.
  • Pressure adjustable air inlets - self regulating, the flow depends on the difference in pressure outside and inside the room. As the pressure difference increases, the airflow increases. Each air inlet must have a restrictor in the eaves or diffuser, which will not increase the flow, for example in the case of strong winds, at a certain capacity. Pressure air inlet can additionally be equipped with a manual stop to restrict the flow to a minimum.
  • Manual air inlets - the user adjusts the opening of the air inlet, so changing the throttle position determines the amount of air supplied. Manual air inlet do not, however, protect against excessive airflow and do not take into account changes in indoor air parameters.

Customized ventilation:

  • air is supplied according to demand,
  • it depends most on the time of day, the temperature of the air in the room, the number of people staying in the apartment, the activity
  • reduces heat loss in unused rooms,
  • enables efficient ventilation where necessary,
  • provides user comfort.
